The transformation of the area of the Golfo Arancisi railway yard extends for about 4 km between the slopes of the Capo Figari hills and the coastline, and is an intervention of considerable urban, environmental and landscape complexity. The project envisages the demolition of the large elevated junction, now disused, linked to the operation of the commercial port, and critical from a landscape point of view, constituting a caesura between the built-up area and the new area being reconverted.
